This is a long, dimly lit, concrete block hallway between the parking garage and the street entrance of a small downtown retail/office building. The owner wanted to enhance the space, keeping it suited to it's purpose but not generic and depressing.

A Sacramento delta mural, in the style of Gregory Kondos, gives a long hallway both presence, and an identity. Painted in a small downtown office/retail space, it expresses the stillness and brilliance of a valley summer.
