Isleton is a small town in the Sacramento/San Joaquin rivers delta. It was a thriving Japanese community until the WW2 internments; this mural/sign was part of a historical remembrance project. The original sign was partially visible but had been painted over.
Once again, because both the sun exposure and the brick substrate made it the best choice, I used the German-made Keim paints to insure that the colors will stay true and bright for years.
