This wall is actually doors to a storage closet, at one end of a patio. The owner wanted to be transported to Napa whenever he came outside.
An avid cyclist, the client wanted a tiny avatar of himself in the scene. Also, the two door knobs, one on either side of the cyclist, are visible in this closeup.
Opening up the space at the back wall of the patio is this Napa Valley mural, complete with tiny cyclist...and a walled town that looks rather more Tuscan than Northern Californian.
