For many years (25? 35? not sure) the Ferrari Club of America, Pacific Region has held an annual rally from the SF bay area east through the winding Delta roads, ending up here at this disused water tower. The owners of the tower have generously allowed both this gathering on their land, and each club president to have a commemorative logo painted on this tower. In 2020 it was my turn. (No, I don't own a Ferrari).

Because of the relentless exposure to the sun, and the convenient fact that it is a concrete substrate, I used the German Keim brand paints, made with mineral pigments, which do not fade or degrade under such harsh conditions.
